This web application is designed to show all the oil & gas wells in the southwest counties of Kansas with measured core data and digital LAS Files. The web application will retrieve all the available data for the selected well and plot the data on a well profile, i.e. measured core data, perforations, formation tops, etc., or make cross plots of the core data, i.e. porosity vs permeability plots for the selected well.

The Rock Catalog Web Application was designed to help the user locate Kansas Geological Surveys (KGS) Core Data and Core Image Files. This web application is designed to allow the user to create search constraints in such a way to filter the data by their interest in data type. The user can construct measured core data cross plots, i.e. Measured Porosity versus Permeability data plots and display core images based on your search constraints. This tools also allows the user to save the images and plots to their pc by constructing a rock catalog web page.
